Water as a vital element of life

As known to all, the whole living world cannot survive without water becasue it is indispensable for all living things to keep themselves alive. It is irresistable law of nature that they must consume water regularly to meet their needs for existence. As early as the ancient times, man regarded water as a vital element of live.

According to scientists, nearly three fourths of our body-weight is constituted by water. We have to take in large quantities of water every day to replenish those lost through excretion and prespiration. If one is short of water, one will soon die of thirst, as are all other living things. In man’s daily life, in addition to keeping themselves alive, water has lots of purposes, such as for washing, cleaning and so on.

Breath-taking picture of the Water

soil_water This is probably one of the most gorgeous pictures I’ve ever seen in ages! Although I’ve studied photography and even advance photographic techniques during my university years, I can’t say I really know anything about photography, especailly when it comes to dealing with natural subject matters.

I remembered that most of my classmates prefer to shot everything in black and white and usually take pictures outdoor, for me, my farourite was ‘light painting’. Meaning I would rather stuck in a dark room all day and get just a few picutres than go out taking loving pictures such as this one….

Soil & Water Conservation’s Project

A very informative video featuring Laurie Brokaw from Buncombe County Soil and Water Conservation District. In the video, she explains in details about the “Emergency Watershed Protection Project” (EWP).

After watching the video, everyone should be so moved that there are actually a lot of people in this world still value natural resources and try their best on daily basis to protect the conservation districts not only within the United States, but worldwide.
